I see a wide range of brand names, and prices for compact flash. What brands are good, and what brands are bad? Also, how much of an advantage is low power CF? And will 45x CF allow you to take faster series of shots, or just download the pics quicker?

I have a Canon A80.

I've had good luck w/ Lexar and Sandisk of various speeds. the faster the CF card the faster your camera can store the images as long as it supports faster CF cards (I belive your Cannon does) I don't have any exp w/ Low Voltage CF cards so no comment there. Hope this helps... :)

I'm not too familiar with the different brands, good and bad and such. I bought two card, a 2.2GB microdrive for storing lots of pictures, and a 256MB one that write faster for doing quick shots. Works pretty well for me, since I can take lots of pictures, or switch and take fast ones if I want.
