Hi guys,

I recently got a hold of a "UFlash" compact flash card reader made by Newer Technology. It was used and didn't come with a driver disk. The manufacturor appears to be out of business--so:

Any idea where I can get the driver files? Or can I use the drivers from another brand?

Thanks for any response.

I'd say give the drivers from another EXACT brand a shot. If that doesn't work than count it as a costly mistake and learn that you never buy anything over the Internet!

Well it seems that this is a mirror of the Newer Technology site, and it seems to have the drivers for it. Anyways, check it out, it may help you. Seems that they have PC UFlash Compact Flash/Smart Media drivers.

Tharyn: You are a godsend! I can't thank you enough--How did you find that site? I downloaded the driver; haven't tried it out yet, but it looks correct.

You're a credit to Anandtech!
