I posted this in the tech support forum, but was told that I should also post it here - -
Ok, I'm getting really tired of getting up in the morning to find that one of my computers is "dead". When I got up this morning, the computers screen was black, and when I tried restarting it, it wouldn't POST (surprise, surprise). The fans are OK, and the light on the MB is on. At first the MB told me (through the diagnostic voice thing) that the ?memory test failed?, but after readjusting the memory stick, I no longer get that message; however, the problem still isn?t fixed. Unfortunately I don?t have a spare piece of memory to try. My MB is an ASUS A7N8X, CPU is AMD 2GHz. Does memory usually just die overnight? It seemed to be working fine just hours before it died. Anyone have any ideas?
