Comp wont detect my burner.......!!!..????

well, everything was working fine until a recent restart.

The hard drive is on the primary master, and the CD-RW is on the secondary master.

There is no CD-RW in My Computer, but there it shows a CD-RW installed in the Device Manager

im using Windows XP

open up the case and

1) unplug and re-plug all cd-rw cables (on both cd-rom and also on mobo connection)

2) check jumper settings
