Comp wont boot...What am i forgetting?

Hey guys.. Stupoid computer wont boot.
I tested the RAM in another machine...It is fine
Tested the vid in another machine..It is fine
Tested the processor in other chine..It is fine


The system powers up but i dont get anything on the screen. The monitor does work...I tried another processor in the comp but it still doesnt work...Is there another component that Im missing that could be stopping it from posting?

hmm..didnt think of that.....Take the battery out for 10 mins right? Do i turn it on without the battery or do i put it back in?

take battery out...i would suggest for at least 20 or 30 minutes just to be sure.

make sure power is unplugged as well

then, put battery back in, and boot er up

you can also use the clear cmos jumpers if you have your mobo manual and it tells you how to do so

if it still doesn't work after that, check for the mobo being accidentally grounded to the case or something...

I second the cmoss jumpers, sounds like you don't have them on or they are in a clear position. Take the battery out for bout twenty minutes..look for a jumper on the MB probably near the battery that is marked hopefully (Cmos) and verify that it is not in the clear..if it is adjust it then turn on the juice.

Pretty much everything else will give you beeps.

Could be a bad AGP port as well. What motherboard is it?
