You guys have to realize that CompUSA and the Micro-Center are very large organizations. It takes a while to get new products into their system because of all the layers involved with companies of this size. Usually when the products finally get onto the inventory, newer (and cheaper versions) have arrived - making what they have look out-dated and over-priced. I think the Micro-Center or CompUSA is probably the last place I'd utilize to make a motherboard purchase. I'd rather give a local "mom & pop" computer shop my business - or, order it from NewEgg.

I don't think CompUSA sells a lot of motherboards because a lot of people still don't know they carry them. Since they don't sell a lot, they need to charge a higher price to make it profitable. As more people buy these boards, the price will come down. That being the case, I still think $250 for a PE board is ridiculous!
