Here's a nice deal on a 4 port USB Hub if you're looking for one at Comp USA....

$29.00 - $10.00 (Instant Rebate) = $19.99 (before rebate) - $10.00 (mail in rebate) = $9.99 (after mail in rebate)....

Details:

Manufacturer: Belkin
CompUSA SKU: 258745
Mfg Part #: F5U014-OE

Lifetime Warranty

Under rebate info, it says it's valid from 12/9/01 to 12/15/01.

Rats. I'm too late, as it's back up to 29.99. Thanks anyway, Outkast.
Anyone seen any new deals this week for USB hubs?

The $9.99 deal is at the CompUsa B&M. It is $29.99 - $10 MIR on-line.
They also have a Belkin 4 hub at OfficeMax B&M for $19.99. I don't think you can apply the $10 MIR to the OfficeMax deal as the rebate, although a manufacturers rebate and not CompUSA, specifically states "CompUSA" in the small print.

Then you can pricematch at compusa and get USB hub for free after rebate.

looks better, fits on the desk better, had the other one at a time, very cheap feeling. All up to you I guess.

I have one of these 4-port Belkin USB hubs that I bought from CompUSA a few months ago. Even though it's a powered hub I've had problems with it providing enough power for some devices. As a result it's sitting on the shelf (actually in a box someplace). Somehow I suspect that a great deal on something that functions inadequately really isn't a great deal at all.

You did set the switch to tell it to operate as a powered hub, I assume? I'm using mine in that fashion and it has not had any problems operating a 500mA device on it, even with all 3 other ports in use.

This was free after rebate at Circuit City a couple of weeks ago, and with a limit 2 of, no less.

I picked up the last one at my CompUsa. It's and ok hub, Mysterei is kind of right, but it works great.
