Comp just died, building new C2D rig

Alright, so my Fx-51 940 rig just kicked the bucket.

So far, I have these parts:
2 gb Firestix 8500
2 gb Firestix 6400 (for vista/if I need spare ram)
Antec Trio 650
Antec P180
Raptor 150 GB X
Audigy 2 ZS (pulled from old rig)
Logitech z5500
Viewsonic 2025xm 20 inch widescreen monitor

so basically I need a mobo/processor/graphics/heatsink/DVDRW Drive/fans/zip ties/thermal paste (?)

I've never OC'd before, but I got the 8500 firestix for like 210 bucks, so I figured I could give it a shot. My inclination is to get an E6300 and maybe upgrade the processor in Q3/Q4. I'd like a mobo with 1333 fsb compatibility, I don't think I need SLI, especially with a 20 inch monitor. Some of these new 650/680 mobos seem to have spotty track records, and I'm not really sure what to steer clear of.
I'd say budget for the rest of the set-up is ~600.
Once I cash my next paycheck i'll probably get a storage harddrive.
I basically use my computer for school, but I plan on gaming more during the late spring/summer. I should probably get a dx9 card until the dx10 cards really become standard.
Any help/guidance/tips for first time builders would be appreciated.

Mobo: Gigabyte DS3
CPU: C2D E6300
GPU: Radeon X1900GT
Heatsink: Freezer 7 Pro
DVDRW: Samsung 18X CD/DVD Burner
Zip Ties: (Jab-Tech.com)
Fans: Yate Loon DSL 120mm (Jab-tech.com)
Thermal Paste: Arctic Cooling MX-1

Everything can be found at Newegg (or Jab-Tech where listed).

Feel free to correct me but I don't think any motherboards out now officially support 1333 (sure they can overclock a 1066 chip that high but will they run a 1333 chip at all?) (theoretically the 680/650 boards should with a bios update but intel will have a new chipset out so I don't know if any 965/975 boards will work). Regardless the $300 quad cores in the 3rd quarter will be 1066 so you will still be able to get a substantial upgrade over your e6300 but I don't know if the e6850 will work.

Thanks all, ordered from Ewiz/Newegg/Jabtech, total of about 540 for everything listed above and some blue wire sleeves and an extra IDE cable.

Edit: Gah, damnit. Just found a 1950pro for 15 dollars more after MIR. grrr.
