Comodo Firewall Pro slows Firefox

As of two days ago, my internet runs much slower than it should in Firefox. I don't believe I've changed anything on my computer or on my router. The internet works fine in IE or with the Application Monitor disabled in Comodo. I've tried adding Firefox as a trusted application, but it doesn't make a difference. I've tried manually adding Firefox and allowing all activities, plus no parent check, allowing invisible connections, and skipping advanced security checks... same thing. Any ideas on what could be causing this? If not... what's the best freeware firewall these days? Perhaps I'll just get a new one.

It really shouldn't slow down Firefox unless you've configured something incorrectly. Did you disable the Comodo Firewall and see if Firefox ran ok after that?

Yeah, it works fine if I disable the Comodo Firewall.

Your solution is to upgrade to Vista.
