Community is getting too weird

I think I'm done with this show... lately it's been more weird episodes than I care for. I can't put my finger on what's wrong, but lately it feels off and I don't like it. Time to find a new one.

It really goes off the rails sometimes doesn't it. Pretty much the whole of Season 2 as an example. There were a couple of good episodes this Season thogh. I loved the alternate reality/Dinner party episode, but it's been pants since then.

Haven't watched tonights yet but I haven't been too thrilled with this season. The dinner party one was great but last weeks with the commercial was awful.

I agree, it's gotten really weird. The same with 30 Rock. It's like they don't have anything funny to do so they just do all these weird/shock scenes.

The only episode of Community I ever saw was one where they were stuck in a RV (or something like that), and they needed to play some retro KFC themed video game from the 1980's to get out.

If it got even weirder than THAT, I'm glad I stopped watching.

If it got even weirder than THAT, I'm glad I stopped watching.

I feel Community has a certain degree of character continuity that makes watching individual episodes or trying to jump in the middle of the show or something difficult, if not impossible.

Because that episode was great.

I enjoyed the first 2 seasons. But I've only watched 2.5 episodes this season. Something is off, like they are trying to do of the more awkward style comedy, instead of just being funny.
