I've been noticing that my computer freezes after leaving it on for around a day or so. Once i noticed a blue screen, so i put everyting back at stock (cpu speed an such). THen my computer froze again, and then i decided to clean my heatsink. And today after leaving my computer on for over 24 hours, when i tried opening two programs at once, it just froze. Could the problem be my ram or will i have to reformat windows? what do you think ? my specs are in my sig..

It could be anything from hardware to software. My advice is try formatting first, thats always good. If it still screws up, then its hardware. If its the RAM, you can remove either one of them to test. if its other parts, try swapping them etc. The last time it happened to me, it was a faulty AGP port on my mobo.

Why You Should Reformat Your Computer
