I've acquired a pretty niffy 12in Ultra portable

The Charger is generic 3rd party... and went I plugged it in my APC 650VA UPS it buzzed and went to battery mode for 2 seconds...

The laptop did kinda went to a bit of a beating but still good.

Another thing that would help is that my cousin is an on and off busy guy. So maybe the battery drained out and the AC Adapter borked... leaning more towards a power problem
 
lol oh man..this is just asking for it. battery. sony. lol.

anyways, the only problems i've experienced with people w/ these laptops are the batter...err, i mean heat issues.
 
I don't buy sony computers for quality issues. I had a VAIO desktop back in the lat 90s and it was the crashiest, worst constructed PC I've ever owned. Well, I never owned a packard bell...
 
Driver issues if you reinstall the OS, some models can be very fussy over drivers, the ones off of sony's website sometimes don't work.
