Common phrases that you hear but never think about their origins...

My folks always used the phrase "Pipe Dream" but I never thought about what it really meant or where / how it originated, then the other day it just dawned on me where it must have come from.
It must have started back in the day when smoking opium was common...

Weird that my folks used a drug related saying without even knowing what it meant. 😉
