The old C64 was nearly unbreakable. Mine survived all sorts of abuse, including being intentionally thrown across my bedroom during a fit of rage. It's only vulnerability was a small inline fuse soldered directly into the main circuit board. When I was a teen, I quickly learned how to replace one.
