I heard that the navy will buy 64's for like 5grand because that is the processing chip they use in their torpedos There really is no need to redesign the guidance and starting back up production would cost a ton!

I know it's supposed to look retro and all that but that may be the ugliest case I've ever seen!

I think they are shooting for the original muddy color scheme. I have to agree with you on that they should use that color as base but jazz up the case a lot more like Alienware. If they asked Alienware to do the design it would end up to be something radically cool no doubt. maybe even design the entire case into a Commodor sign C=.

yea idk why they dont just redesign the torpedo guidance system to use current CPUs. im sure they could save a few million dollars a year buying really really badly binned atom processors (ones that wont run faster than like 100mhz stable, or less even), since intel would probably give them to them for the cost of the sand it took to make them, since they just melt them back down anyway.

I like that case. I miss boring beige ugly computers. I'd kill for just that chassis.

my god I had one of those Mach5s, they were all the rage back then, essentially an OS onto itself.

Looks like a freakin' Amiga.

Strange approach, branding a high-end PC with the most widely-known low-end computing brand in existence.

Don't know if I'd want to spend $6K on a conversation starter...
