commercial extreme pickup

"You think about the people who haul big horse trailers, big boats, all that sort of thing. They have big egos, and you can see where that goes," Matich says. "I'll have a camouflage version next year. Hunting and fishing lodges should snap that up."

wow...just wow

Edit: Just a thought, if you crash into one of these and it's camouflaged, can you claim that as a defense? "I swear officer, I couldn't see it. It was camouflaged!!"

I can't weight for Mack and Freightliner to put a bed on the back of their rigs so I can...can... can... OK, explain this to me. WTF is the purpose of this thing again?

Hahaha, you couldn't be closer to the truth. It'll be just like the H2. You'll only see women driving it as an everyday vehicle.

Is a CDL required to drive one? If they find a way to put it in a rap video, it'll be huge .. no pun intended.

Crazy though. I drive a large pickup, but I'd never want one of those.

that's almost too big to be practical, but then again who here in america thinks of practical anymore.....10mpg? sure it's beefy for towing stuff and i'm sure it'll do a great job, but i don't want to have some soccermom thinking she's in a freaking tank(she almost is!) talking on her cell phone not paying attention and plowing into someone....it's just asking for it

I forsee this making its way into the next round of Big Blingys Rap Thug Lyfe on MTV, complete with 40" "dub-dubs" and lowered to the asphalt. 😛

I wonder what it's towing capacity is.

A new 1 ton pickup will tow 18k pounds or so. I can't see the need for much more than that without going commercial.

might make sense for my company. we have a 28k pound trailer that we've been paying someone to haul around for us. we were looking at some of the super super-duty fords (F-650, etc) and they cost at least $100k and some couldn't haul enough.

JDub: I've seen a number of rigs built like the one in the picture that are based off of FL70 range chassis specifically made for towing 5th wheels.
