I'm considering this monitor, but I've got half a mind to just spend the extra $50-60 for the Sony CPD-G420S.

What does everyone think?
 
my roomate just made the decision to go with the samsung over that exact sony. he loves it, and i'm writing this on it right now. VERY sexy monitor. not sure if i could justify the extra for the sony either. i think you might be paying for the brand name though.

but beware, the battle between these 2 monitors can get ugly. just do a search for samsung vs. sony and you'll find that out for yourself!
 
I have heard Samsung (based on mitsubishi dimondtron tube) is as good as the Sony (based on Sony's own Trintron). But u may wanna search for LXi's (a member here) comments on this subject in these forums. He seems to know alot about various monitors!

In my humble opinion the 900NF is a better monitor than the CPD-G420S, so spending more money on the Sony makes very little (if any) sense.
