How's this 19" flat CRT? Unfortunately, we don't have those top-rated NEC/Mitsubishi monitors here in Hong Kong, they're either sold out or are never available in Hong Kong.

Does it have the Diamondtron M2 tube?

How's it compared with the Viewsonic P95f+ and Philips 109P40? Do all three of them has the Diamondtron M2 tube?

What're the differences between Diamondtron M2 and Diamondtron NF tubes?

Thanks in advance,
Ian

Not familiar with that model. As far as I know the 957 is highest model in US. Never seen that model here. The Diamondtron is nec\mitsubishi trinitron technology. I thought all samsungs monitors were shadowmask and not trinitron.

Actually Samsung use both shadowmask and Diamondtron based monitors in their range and have done so for quite a long time.I believe the 959 is based on the Diamondtron tube.

I owned one for over a year and I was very pleased. I found it to be very sharp and the colours were very nice. Much nicer than any non trinitron monitors (this was my first trinitron). It also comes with a three year in sight warranty (they send you a new one and you send back the faulty one). This is very handy and it actually works. I know because I upgraded from the 959NF no a Samsung 240T and it broke :( (not completely).. They were very nice at Samsung and I will get a newver model to be released this month (samsung 243T)

Overall I was very happy with the 959NF and I am very happy with Samsung.
