Comments on a comment I made on a blog post...

Was just doing some searching around and found my name showed up here: http://diveintomark.org/archiv.../the-future-of-reading

Under Act 6, art of learning, I found my post, which was originally on Guy Kawasaki's blog, but I think he recently changed the format or something and can't see any comments on it now.

Anyway, should I think anything of this? I saw 250 comments to that link above and so at first, was kind of happy, but don't know if this means anything 😛

What do you mean? As far as I know, he's still with the VC firm (Garage Technology Ventures) and pretty active in new startups.

Just for the record, I guess this isn't a big deal, but it's nice to see my comment being quoted, and then seeing that article on other sites.

I haven't heard his name since the mid 90's. I just read his blog.

Ah, yeah, I haven't heard his name for any ground breaking thing lately, but I think that's because he's taken more of a behind the scenes approach. He's investing in companies, offering guidance, is a speaker, etc. and so he might not hit the front cover of a newspaper, but he'll be backing the people that do.

His blog is pretty interesting and so I follow it too.
