I've been doing lots of research lately and have put together a list of parts...I'm pretty sure everything is solid, but am looking for some input on a few things.

I will be building this rig from scratch, using no parts from any previous builds, excluding monitor and headset.

It will be used mainly for gaming (Crysis, CS:S, COD4, BF2, etc.), light Photoshop, and light audio editing/mixing.

I'm not too interested in overclocking, but will probably end up doing it - nothing too major, however.

The list below comes out to ~$1400CDN and some change after taxes, etc (from http://www.ncix.com and http://www.atic.ca). If anything needs to be improved/changed and is justifiable, I can stretch it a little further.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (Stick with this or 'jump' to a Q6600?)
Motherboard: Abit IP35
RAM: OCZ Platinum XTC PC2-6400 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-800 (Not sure on this choice - could use recommendations for other 4GB kits)
Video card: EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800GT Superclocked
HD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB
DVD: LG G-H20NS10 20X8X16
Case: Antec Nine Hundred
PSU: Corsair HX520 (Enough for this build?)
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit
Mouse: Logitech MX518
Keyboard: Logitech Internet 350
Monitor (already have): Samsung Syncmaster 2032GW

Fire away! :)

Since you're willing to do a little bit overclocking, I would recommend spending less money on the CPU. Get an E4xxx or E2xxx series and overclock it. A stock 2.2GHz E4500 is enough to play any game out there right now at acceptable framerates. Overclock it and it shouldn't hold you back even in CPU-dependent games like Supreme Commander. Food for thought anyway.

The 520HX is more than enough power. You'll be fine.
