Other than an erratic diffuse lightning source, they will offer nothing special to affect your life.

Assuming they are, in fact, made of salt, they could save your life in some strange post-apocalyptic society where there's nothing to eat except foods not containing salt.

Also, they will attract ants, ants love salt (from my experience anyway).

You know how I know something was written by a chinese spammer? This is how
Himalayan salt lamps host an array of health and environmental benefits which make them very beneficial for the home, see how you can benefit today with these positive facts!

This kind of structure wouldn't qualify you to pass your 6th grade English class.

1 for 11. They can enhance your mood, because if you think they look cool, then every time you see it, you'll get slightly happier. Otherwise, bunk.

I first saw salt lamps years ago at the state Fair. I thought they looked cool and was lightly considering it. Then the sales guy comes over and starts going on about the many benefits, and I just slowly walked away. I didn't want anyone to think I actually believed that crap.

Everyone knows you don't get the most out of your salt lamp unless you rub it down with 100% pure snake oil once a week.
