Comment on laptop specifications please!

didnt think thinkpads could get ANY sort of graphics in them, haha. I like it, but personally...I think there is an ACER that sells for about 1500 with 100gig hd, x1400ATI, 1 gig ram ddr2.

where did you configure this at?

My gf gets hookups 😉 it's from the EPP site.
 
I'd go for the $1125 T42 with the Radeon 9600. Then again, I don't really need a dual core laptop, an 80GB hard disk, or SXGA+. Does that T60 have a 3 year warranty?

One suggestion: shop around to see if you can get PC2-5300 notebook ram elsewhere for cheaper. I've seen 1GB PC2-4200 sticks for $65 AR.

Looks pretty powerful, I must say.
