Moderator: Not sure if this is the right forum.

I'm doing a study of the commoditization technology, for which I need some information on the following products

1. PC's
2. Network Interface Cards
3. Storage Area Networks
4. CPU's
5. DRAMs
6. Digital Cameras
7. Mobile Handsets

From date/year of introduction for each of the above products I need the following quantative & qualitative data:

1. Prices (Industry Average / Index - ideally real)
2. Sales in Volume (nos) & Value (in $)
2. Standards & when changed - e.g. move from multiple to single standard & closed to open standards.
3. Introductions of upgrades / new products
4. Sales of top 5 companies in the segment
5. Where Manufactured? (North America, Japan, Taiwan, SE Asia, China, Western Europe etc.)
6. Strategies followed by key players & how successful they were.
7. Anything else which would help me understand this product / sector.

Am under an extremely very tight deadline ... would greatly appreciate any inputs on the above.

Any other suggestions would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a ton.

The members of this forum are happy to help, but you are pushing the limits of help. You are basically asking us to do the study for you... Go and try to do the study yourself first. If there are one or two of those items that you cannot find on your own, then come on back and ask.

no no. I apologise if it looks that way. I was only looking for sources where I could get this kind of data.

My sincere apologies once again.
