Command to put monitor to sleep?

Hey guys, what I'm trying to do is to be able to watch TV on my PC from bed, and turn everything off with my remotes and then just go to sleep without having to get up. I can turn off my sound system with its remote, and I can put SageTV into standby with my Hauppauge remote. The only thing remaining then is a way to put my monitor to sleep. Is there a Windows command I can access that does this directly? If so, maybe I can re-map a remote button to do it.

Thanks!

There's a program (I think by Steve Gibson) that does this. I'm pretty sure there's no easy way to do it without additional software, so you may want to look it up.

I'm not interested in installing additional software, was just curious if there was a way to do it natively. If anyone knows of a way feel free to mention it.

Thanks, guys.
