Command to edit which programmes launch on startup.

I remember i used to enter a word into "run" to control which programmes were loaded on startup, among other things. Now i can't for the life of me remember what that was.. Anyone know what im talking about?

If you wanted, Windows Defender is much better at telling you what starts up and what doesn't during the boot up.
