Command Prompt won't run!

I'm using Windows XP Home Edition as my main OS. One day I needed to use the Command Prompt for XP and this is what it displayed when I clicked on it," The command prompt has been disable by your administrator. Press any key to continue......"

This is very annoying and can someone please tell me how to enable it again. I'm running an administartor account so it should be able to work just fine. Any answers or help would be appreciated.

How did you launch the Command Prompt?

I click Start => Run => CMD [ENTER/ OK] or I use the excellent Command Prompt PowerToy from Microsoft to launch the command prompt in any DIR/ folder. Available here

Have you tried installing this?

Alternatively, format your hard drive and install MS-DOS v5 - this would provide an "always on" permanent command window ;-)
