command prompt help

I need to open a .ppt(powerpoint) in Microsoft Word using the command prompt. I would really apreciate it if someone could help me out. As of right now its easier for me to just open it by changing Work to open all files but I need to do it using the command prompt.

Why cant you just double click the program? anyway...


c: \windows\programs\microsoft\powerpoint.exe (or whatever the path is to the .exe file)

Your question is rather unusual, may be you want to clarify more what you mean by open a .ppt in word from a Command Prompt.

.ppt can be inserted into word but it has to be from within word.

Thanks for the replys guys. Fardringle helped me figure it out. It can be done through the command prompt.
