Command Prompt Flashes Instantaneously and Disappears

So I'm noticing one weird behavior on my system. Occasionally (maybe every 30 min? hour?), I see a command prompt window flash and close.

I'm generally pretty good about not being screwed by Malware, and I do have Windows Defender on. I also did a MalwareBytes scan because I wasn't too sure if there was something lurking. The scan came up clean. I did a Windows Defender scan too which came up clean.

The only other apps I can think of that could have an impact are my recent mouse and keyboard upgrade. I got a Logitech G502 mouse recently and installed Logitech Gaming software. In addition, I got a Corsair K95 Platinum keyboard which has Corsair's CUE software.

Does anyone have any experience with these two pieces of software for mice and keyboards? Are there any known issues?

This is also a relatively new system (built in April 2017), and I have only a few pieces of software installed (MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom). On top of that I have a few Steam games and BF4 (Origin).

The popup is so quick that I can't even capture it. As a last resort I can always reformat and start over, but I'd rather not.

I wouldn't re-format, but I would un-install the Logitech Gaming mouse software and see if that cures it. You can always do a system restore if needed.

I believe I've read that's an issue with office 2016. Might want to check for more info in that direction.

Sounds familiar, esp. if you are running Win 10. See if this sounds like you. If so, scroll to the link at the bottom:

Holy crap I can't believe it's actually officially acknowledged by Microsoft here.

I force updated Office today and will observe if it's gone.

Previously I had downloaded Process Lasso and watched Task Scheduler like a hawk but it was difficult to figure out.

I had this problem as well. It was nVidia GeForce Experience and Drivers in my case. If you have an nVidia card and haven't updated in a while, try that.
