Command-line??

Hi.

I am currently playing an older game (Planescape Torment). This game is many years old, and does not need much horsepower. However, I am running it on an Athlon 64 3000+, which has been overclocked from 2.0GHz to 2.32GHz. This is WAY too much power for this game. However, when running the game, the processor spikes to 100% usage, and I can hear my temp-controlled CPU fan spin faster...

What I would like to have is a command-line utility that I could wedge into a .BAT file that would allow me to set my FSB and CPU multiplier way down. This would deposit less dust on my heatsink, and let me use less power.

I remember reading about a program like this once, but I cannot remember what it is called. Google has been of absolutely no help, either. Can anybody suggest anything?

Thanks for the replies. CPU MSR seems like it has the capability, as long as it has command-line switches (which it may or may not), then it should be just what I am looking for.

Mo'Slo looks like a wrapper for DOS programs. It would not work in this case. Thanks, though.

It works fine on my board!!! Unfortunately, I could not find a command-line interface. All mouse clicks.

I also found that Cool-n-Quiet can throw the multiplier back up. I guess that I will have to disable it.

I am looking for something that can change my multiplier (and FSB, if possible) from a simple shortcut or .BAT file. Any other ideas?
