command line job

i am admittedly NOT a command line expert.

i need to schedule a monthly job that will do 3 things:

1. get system info from our 6 servers (all windows 2000 server)
2. get a list of running services on each server
3. direct the output to a text file which is sent to me

so my questions are - can this be done? and if so, how?

TIA - i know for you cmd experts this is a no-brainer

(i replied with another question after a couple replies)

thanks, guys. i was looking at all those links you sent and then i tried to run just systeminfo from my command line. i got

ERROR: Class not registered

For some reason, the laptop they gave me here is installed with Windows XP Media Center Edition and doesn't appear to have all the command line tools that XP Pro has. Do you know how I could get the rest of those tools so that I can use them? I've been searching and searching Microsoft, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

TIA

yes <sigh>

it's one of the ones with a built in cam and some other funky stuff, and i guess it came with Media. i havent been here long enough to say "hey, thanks for the brand new laptop, but i'm gonna reinstall Windows". I think I'll put Vista on it when I do, tho.

anyway, does anyone know how i can get those commands for my cmd line in the Media edition?
