Command Line in Win2k

Ever since I installed HP scanner, on boot I get a command line window. How do I get rid of this.

Just a plain "C:\Windows\>" prompt? Check if it's in your startup directory.

check your HKLM/software/ms/windows/currentversion/run for cmd.exe or some other similar command

I checked, it's not in my starup directory. Where else should I look??
