I need to find a way to disconnect from the internet via command line switches. This is due to my cheap 1-way cable modem, tha after being connected for x-hours will stop recieving data. I set it so that if i disconnect the dial-in part(which is the same as a normal dial up) it will go through the reconnect process. The connection is shared from a basement computer, so it is inconvienian to do this every time. What I would like to do is write a batch file for this, and put a link to it on my desktop so I can deal with this very quickly.
btw. I don't want to do a disconect if idle, I would rather leave it up as long as possible.
