Ultimate collection?

Psssht. Where is Sole Survivor?

I own this collection though and it works great even on Win 8. This was like my 5th copy of TD, 4th of RA, 3rd of RA2, TS, Renegade, TW and RA3, 2nd of Generals and TT.

Safe to say they've got their money out of me for this series that I initially pirated in 1995 without the cut scenes because I didn't know if I'd like it.

What's bad about Origin?

Their DRM. My son paid $70 for Spore (deluxe edition), and we isntalled it - it worked OK. Then I did a clean install to Windows 7 back in 2009 and tried to install it but it said the CD-jey was in use. I spent 45 minutes minutes getting ahold of customer service to get it working, and they couldn'f fix it, and finally gave me a new key. It didn't work, and spent another 45 minutes on the phone, and they gave me another key, which again would work. I finally had to get a pirated copy, just so we could play a game we spent $70 on.

Funnily enough, we installed it again from the original DVD last week, using the original CD-Key and it worked. Maybe they reset the original CD-key after not being used for 3 years, or they improved their system. The original DRM experience was so bad, I haven't bought an EA game since, and now only buy from Steam.

Yeah, if it was not Origin, I would've jumped on it in a heartbeat. But with Origin, no way I'm touching it.

I don't know I really just meant the SP games. Never really liked Generals, it's the only C&C game I haven't bought outside of a bundle, so I wouldn't really be any help there.
