Commanche 4 benchmark results and questions.

I just d/lded the Commanche 4 demo/bench and ran it with AA at 4x AA of Sound off no AA at 1024x768

My results were as follows
no AA: 40.55fps
4X AA: 40.25fps
nosound: 40.75fps


so what does this mean? My system specs are P4 2.63ghz GF4 Ti4600 and Samsung PC2700 2-2-2 on Abit BD7II mobo

According to SimHQ its seems about right.

Comanche 4 is CPU limited not vid card limited. Hence your performance numbers. It's probably one of the most CPU demanding games out there currently.

Wow! That stinks in my book. I have less than half the hardware and I'm getting these results with My Gaming Rig.

I would of thought that this top of the line hardware would pull in a lot higher fps. Can anyone explain why?

if you check reviews the best hardware with best video card barely top 50fps in commanche I was really curious about why my FPS didn't go up or down when enabling and disabling some of the options like sound. The performance is on par with what I have seen, but i was wondering more about why no sound wouldn't boost the fps.
