Coming to a store near you - Mushkin 8800 GT

Mushkin is apparently entering the video card business. Sounds like a factory OCed card, with some bundled...stuff. USB drive with the drivers on it, polo shirt, pen, and a necklace.

Hmm, interesting. Wonder how this one is going to pan out...

That's a real funny name to give a video card.

They should have called it:
8800GT Mushkin Vista Overclocked Edition

Maybe it would sell more...:shocked:

I dont care for bundled products myself. I'd rather them take out the extras and take their value off the price of the card and just sell me the card that way. But thats just me. Oh, and I have yet to see a Fatal1ty product that impressed me yet. The guy doesnt exude quality in my thinking. At least his endorsed products hasnt anyway.

What has impressed me is that originally his name was put on top end gear, but he went out on a limb and insisted that affordable, mainstream stuff have his name on it.

In the Inq article, there was mention of the failed Crucial video cards. IIRC those were Radeon 7xxx and 8xxx series cards with really slow RAM, almost as if Crucial just used their desktop RAM on the cards instead of higher MHz graphics RAM. That's why it failed, because they were the slowest on the market.
