Coming soon: Invasion on ABC

There's a bunch of alien/supernatural shows coming out.

The one that's got the best reviews (that I've read anyway) thus far is Threshold on CBS. Supposedly, it's a bit more dark and sinister. It premiered last Friday, but I missed it.

My quick review of the new sci-fi shows coming based on the premieres...

Invasion - it was just bad... didn't care for ANY of the characters. It was a pretty poor premiere ep. where basically nothing happened except a big hurricane came through town. "They could be among us now" is basically the idea... again, sucked for a premiere. We'll have to see what direction they take it in... they do have LOST to anchor it.
Supernatural - it wasn't too bad... Jensen Ackles is an underrated actor. The show is actually freaky/scary and there's a lot of room for potential because of the plot... 2 brothers go hunting for what killed their mother and now they are searching for their missing father.
Threshold - Carla Gugino is the only reason I'm watching again. More of the same UFO-type stories... more of a "what will happen next" kind of curiousity. The premiere was much better than Invasion, I'll say that much. The supporting cast is pretty interesting too.
Surface - Nothing notable at all. Just an underwater version of UFOs... something submerged is now surfacing. The only reason it's a big deal is because NBC is making a big production of it.

I'm watching it.. it's kinda interesting... only because you want to know whats goning on, I guess.. but yeah, it certainly doesen't have the character development and feeling of Lost.
