haha I wouldnt be surprised. I took it pretty lightly though. I actually started laughing when I opened up gmail in that morning and saw the AT vacation email.

actually I started researching components for my car audio. and researching how to take interior pieces off to install new speakers, sub, amps, crossovers, etc

Well, the Mod may have just been in a pissy mood. But if I was a Mod, locked a thread for obvious reasons (wrong forum), then someone immediately PMs me asking why and I respond that it's rather obvious, and he comes back with some lame attempt to be funny that could easily be construed as coming off as a smug, condescending smart-ass with abone to pick, I'd probably either warn you to tread carefully or go ahead and vacation you then and there.

I really can't blame teh mods too much.... I run my own MMORPG and have had it running for 14 months now... The first half year I let the players get away with a lot of smartmouthed remarks and other things.... These days myself and other admin have been pushed enough from some players to the point where we don't put up with stupid stuff anymore. We ban people for hours, days or weeks now whereas it was something we had never done before.

My point is that being in an admin spot is more work than many people think. There is only so much crap that admin can constantly deal with before finally hitting a breaking point... I would have taken your response as disrespectful and banned you as well.
