Comic Panel?

What's a comic panel? How's it different from a comic strip?

A panel is one square in the strip.

I'm guessing a panel is a table of frames. While a strip is just a row or column of frames. So 'For Better or For Worse' is a panel, while 'Marvin' is a strip.
