Comfortable pen...gift ideas....etc...

Music's always good, as for a pen...she probably has small hands so a fat pen probably wouldn't be the best thing. My current favorite pen is the Pilot G2-05, they're pretty cheap but they're comfy and write nice.

I have a fountain pen and its the best pen I have ever gotten. It was just under $100 (not sure how much you wanted to spend on her), but its a Porsche Design pen. Its small but has good weight, medium nib, and option for cartridge or converter for the ink. Its great.

A lot of these pens seem to go for class and style (not a bad thing) but probably not the best for writing for long period of time. Was looking for something less formal like a ballpoint pen instead of fountain since it would be mostly "quick" use. Hmm maybe the pen idea isn't such a great one....

FYI, most fountain pens are made for relatively "quick" use as you call it, not to mention its the smoothest writing pen I have ever written with. It just holds the ink and you take it out, take off the cap and write. You just have to refill it every once in a while. But you might be able to find a decent $50 fountain pen.

A pen's a really classy gift, but I'd also go high-end if I were to give a pen, like a nice Waterman or Mont Blanc.

But if she writes a lot like you say, maybe you could find something in the latest Levenger catalog, like a nice leather notebook or something. And then stick the CD inside! Hard to find CDs are good too, musicians always appreciate it (ex was a piano player).

Both viable options, good luck!

The faber-castell uses real wood which gives it a nice unique feel. The barrel is flared which makes it more comfortable, and the ink flow is great too. One of my favorite pens that i have. But I will admit it's really funky looking 🙂
