comfortable office chairs

I'm looking to replace my cheap office depot/max type leather chair with a more comfortable one. I'm probably not going to go with another one of those cheap large leather type chairs. They really aren't that comfortable. Cushion is really important to me as well as back support. I also hate some of the arms on the chairs as they get in the way of the desk or underdesk keyboard trays. Of course it will have tilt and height adjustment.

anyone care to comment on comfortable chairs they have or recommend?
 
just go sit on a few till you find one ya like..
thats what i did.. and the one i found didnt cost that much either...
unde 100 bucks... great chair.. can easily do 8 hours of gaming in comfort

The chairs are very comfortable, you can adjust about everything to your own liking....
One minus that i have is that the backing is made of a plastic mesh type material, it's pretty form fitting, but not super plush like leather.

just my 2 cents
 
under a $100 is ideal... but if i'm being unrealistic i will budge.

i've stepped in a few office depot/max stores and sat in a few to see what I like. Nothing comfort + price has grabbed me yet though 🙁
 
I was in your same predicament a year ago. I had went thru 2 generic office store leather chairs in 3 years, the bottom cushioning would start getting bare and my back would start hurting. I had been using a Herman Miller chair at work for about a year by then and I loved it so much, I sucked it up and bought one for home from ebay. Best chair ever, it's been worth every penny and more.
 
the Aeron chair is comfertable but i dont think its worth 600 bucks. i been sitting on it at work for about 6 months now. i would get one for my house but like i said its not worth 600 buck. sigh if only it was cheaper.
 
I sat in an Aeron for a day once and it's by far the best chair i've ever had. I think it's so worth it. Where da hell do you guys work where they give you aeron chairs? I thought the dot coms were over.
 
I work at a biotech firm in Rockville MD, I think everyone here has a Aeron chair, I actually have 2 in my cube, I for me one for visitors
