Dang it! I looked away for a minute... Is McCain making any sense? Someone explain?

Wtf is McCain talking about?! Lol this hack is trying desperately to bring Clinton back in it.

He's gone full senile!

This is what I hate about ALL Politicians, Trump was brutal with him during the election. Now Trump is John's best friend. Next moment could be completely different.

What the fuck is McCain talking about? Is he saying why is the investigation with Hillary colluding with the Russians over?

I don't get it?

Holy senility, McCain cannot seem to distinguish between the F.B.I probe into Hillary's email server and the one into the Russian hacking of the 2016 election. Comey politely and repeatedly explained that they were 2 separate cases, yet McCain still didn't seem to understand.

Poor old patriot should have stayed home.

McCain made 0 sense. Seperate investigations, seperate matters, seperate time frames.

That's what he was saying...why is Hillary off the hook and Trump is still under investigation?

Poor old duffer really doesn't know that these are two entirely different cases.

I almost feel sorry for the old fudd.

Kind of feel bad for McCain. He's struggling to keep up with something that he should have walked away from years ago.

So, other than obstruction of justice concerning Flynn, I personally didn't see/hear anything of importance or anything new. Admittedly I didn't get the beginning of the hearing.

I understand McCain might like to partisan his questions but correct me if I'm wrong... He wasn't making any sense was he? I was trying like hell to follow his line of thought but I couldn't figure out even the essence of what he was trying to get at. I am completely open to someone offering up an explanation of what McCain seemed to think he was getting at???

Part of comeys testimony can be corroborated with phone records showing who called who.

Yes, and just to be clear on this point, when one's boss asks for something, regardless of how the request is framed, it's pretty much always going to be taken as an order. On Fox News I saw them arguing this point about "I hope" the other day and analogizing it to when a friend or relative makes a "request." They're counting on people being really, really stupid to not understand the distinction.

I don't think they are counting on people being stupid, I think they are trying to offer people looking for a reason to discount his testimony a way to do so.

Comey, the person in the room when the request was made, considered it a direction. To me that's the most meaningful thing. Yes though, when your boss tells you 'I hope you guys can get that done on time' that means 'I want you to get this done on time' to any normal person.

McCain isn't following the conversation at all. Maybe his embalming fluid is a bit low. Maybe it's just that type of Maverick move to use the Comey hearings as your retirement announcement to the world.

This just in:

Trump not under investigation currently for robbery at 7/11 in Sacremento. Republicans overjoyed - "Trump is completely vindicated!"

There were more than a few "I can't answer that in open session" moments that should send chills down the admin's collective spine. One, the bit on Sessions' being investigated as part of the Russia case. Two, any reference to the Steele dossier was punted to closed session. There's something there.

There were also other tidbits in there like Mueller is now looking at obstruction (which Comey laid out pretty well), and that Flynn was targeted in a criminal investigation. Also, the line about Trump not discussing any other cases with him in the same manner as Flynn is fairly important. Same with the conscience of guilt by removing others from the room.

I'm sure this will somehow all get twisted into a big nothing-burger by the indoctrinated Trumpkins, but man was it damning overall.

Plus it is now on record, sworn under oath, under penalty of perjury and all that good stuff we have in a free and open democracy.

I'll summarize for you: bullshit claim made by bullshit poster.

Summary of the summary: "The poster doesn't seem like a left leaning Progressive, didn't call anyone a derogatory name, and didn't state for fact that Trump colluded with Russian hackers living in Mar a Lago. Must be BS.

Between all these banana republicans furiously trying to polish that orange turd and McCain deciding to act like the posterboy for Alzheimers and dementia, just... wow.

'Party before country' is now the official slogan of the GOP, at least until it's not full of Putin sucking Quislings.
