Comedy Central not censored?

i was asleep last night 😉

off to bed with me, i saw it in the theatre, no need to watch it again
 
It's a first for comedy central. Working at Dish Network they actually sent out a script we're supposed to read if someone calls up and complains about the uncensoredness.

I don't remember it off the top of my head, just call 800-333-dish and complain that you saw the SP movie on comedy central and they were swearing. They've got a whole script set up that they'll read to you. It basically says "your stupid, stop being so controlling, and if you're concerned about your kids seeing this don't let them watch"

Negative... regulations are only for over the air broadcasts. Anything on cable is good to go. It's just been an unspoken rule that basic cable has censored themselves though, but as always, comedy central is raising the bar just a bit higher 😀

Big Gay Al's pee-pee was definitely just flopping around on screen totally uncensored...

Is this becoming a new trend? My wife said she watched Bachelor Party on FX the other night and they showed the uncut DVD version, including boobies, language, etc. Speaking of which, I think it just came on again.... 😀

When was the last time you saw something uncut on a "regular" cable channel like Comedy Central? If you didn't have to censor stuff, wouldn't there be more gratuitous violence, nudity, etc. on cable?

Look it up if you don't believe me... they don't because they would lose ratings and support. Most everyone has cable now, and that's why they do it, so they keep their customers

Us Canucks get censorship but it doesn't usually butcher movies. Late night pr0n is all over the damn place...Showcase!!!

Oh, and on prime time Osbournes only has the finger and fvck censored 🙂 everything else is fine
 
Yeah, I just got back from Italy and they are pretty liberal with their nudity as well. Not to say that it is shown like everywher, but it's no surprise to be driving down the highway and see some billboard with nudity on it.

Wow, you poor, poor canadians... you should see the TV in Japan or France. Makes what you show all the time on TV look like super-conservative religious programming
