Thank god, my children must be protected from polygonal boobies. Now all they can do is continue to run over, mow down and beat in-game characters with bats.

What do you expect from the American Christian Taliban.

I expect to see women in America required to be fully covered up in the very near future and it won't be because some M.E. Country has taken over.
 
And of course, while Riprorin gets a permanent ban for calling Muslims who'd attack civilians Nazis, dmcowen674 is allowed to label people on this board as the American Christian Taliban and it's not a problem.

That's what got him banned, he associated all muslims with Nazis. Not to mention his consistent thread crapping may have something to do with it as well. Not to mention the content of the thread, it's pretty disgusting...

While I don't like the content of Dave's threads anymore than Rips. I don't consider it a bannable offense.

I do believe that this ranks really low considering all the other stuff that is going on in US politics, policy, etc., but this game did have hidden NC17 content. I see it no different than releasing a DVD under a PGG 13 or R rating with hidden NC17 content or 'easter eggs'. The mod files didn't add the content, it unlocked it. Considering this game was marketed primarily to the teen audience something needed to be done. You can google for videos of the content in question.
 
but shouldn't the game be marked as intended for sale? If they used code to LOCK a feature, and prevent people from acessing it...and someone hacks it to enable it, how is it their fault?

The problem is this isn't "easter eggs"...it wasn't meant to be "unlocked" period. Easter Eggs are meant to be found, this isn't

It is sad how afraid America is of sex. I was watching Austin Powers on TBS (Or a station around it, I forget) and they actually bleeped-out "Penis" in Swedish-made Penis Enlarger. Yet you can watch fairly violent movies on a regular basis on TV. I think our choice of what we censor in this country is absolutely asinine.
 
Elections are coming up "soon"...what else do you expect? Does anyone here actually think they'd do something useful, like derive an energy policy that will WORK and not sit afraid of the big bad oil / auto / farm man? Please.
