While only a personal observation, and based on an admittedly small percentage of the population, I honestly think that people that lean to the left tend to value what happiness they have had in their lives already, without being obsessed with needing to keep on living.

IMHO, those that use fear to advance their agenda are just jerks, and the people that the fear message works on are leading shallow lives. So, we have the dastardly directing the weak.

That has to be one of the stupidest things I have have ever heard. You should write that on your birthday card when you give it to them.
