Oh and vote republican so you can enjoy more of the same madness.

It's working like a charm.

Women at work are scared and beleieve that only the Republicans can save them from Terrists.

Guys are scared they will be held down and converted to Gay by Democrats.

When I say that is all Marketing scare tactics they ask me why do I hate America.

Look who's talking. You're the king of fear-mongering on these forums... I don't think anybody could dispute that.

The lives of my kids and grandkids are dear to me, but I am not even afraid for them. They will all die one day too, and I can't see wringing my hands worring about which day it is.

While only a personal observation, and based on an admittedly small percentage of the population, I honestly think that people that lean to the left tend to value what happiness they have had in their lives already, without being obsessed with needing to keep on living.

IMHO, those that use fear to advance their agenda are just jerks, and the people that the fear message works on are leading shallow lives. So, we have the dastardly directing the weak.

GOP to Air Ad Warning of Terror Attacks

Yes terrorism is one of the biggest threats we face, but they are preying on peoples fears. It's sad they have nothing else to stand on, same goes for the dems.

Welcome to REPUBLICAN politics.

Fixed it for ya.

I knew at least one of you ignorant fools would respond with something like the above. At least you are consistent in your stupidity and sheep like attitude.

I will remind you of some of the fears the left likes to prey upon to complete the circle.

Old people starving becuase the republicans are going to take away their SS.
Poor people starving because republicans are going to take away their welfare.
Black people oppressed if republicans gain power.
Old people starving or on the street because republicans want to reduce the burden of medicaid.
Secularists and gays subjected to discrimination if repubs are elected.
Nobody will have a job if republicans have their way.

The list can go on and on.

To act as if this is a one sided affair only shows how far your head is buried in the sand. or implanted in the posterior of the democrats, take your pick.

I dont remember who said this but maybe next time take this advice.
"Better to be thought a fool than to open ones mouth and prove it."

Uh, gays are kind of discriminated against by republicans. Unless that proposed ammendment was just trying to "convert" them from the darkside.

And since we're talking about fear as a campaign tactic, conveniently timed bogus terra plots, dying if democrats are in charge kind of trump any of the problems you listed.

No it doesnt, my examples are all fear tactics the democrats and left have used in nearly every election.

Both sides play the fear game. You trying to act like only one side does is proof of how much a partisan shill you have become.

So you don't think that this commercial is above and beyond???

edit: My original "fixed it post" didn't meant to imply that it was one sided, just that the only thing they have is a "vote republican or die". And yes, I put that above any ss/medicare fears that the dems play on, if at all.

We have nothing to worry about. Despite the puny attempts by some, Republicans will retain their IRON GRIP on America - and we will all rejoice!

Rejoice in the Republican victory!

What does it matter if it is above and beyond? The point is both do it, so it is par for the course. I am making no claims only one side is guilty, unlike you.

Sorry, "vote republican or die" is worse than anything the dems are doing. And I think it was actually Bush that was using SS/medicare as a fear tactic while trying to get those passed. Where again is the DNC ad showing OBL and explosions saying "vote dem or die"????

Oh I didnt see the Bush ads proclaiming granny losing her house to SS privatization. I am positive those came from the likes of democrats and AARP.

This is all elementary anyways because the point stands.

They Both Do It!

To deny that you have to be a complete shill.

Only the republicans are using "vote for me or die". Cheney even used it in one of his interviews (or maybe a debate) before the last election.

You claim the dems do it too. Prove it. I like how you resort to name calling though. Typical.

Well it's nice to see that Al Qaeda doesn't even need to distribute their own fear-inducing propaganda anymore. They have the Republican Party to do it for them.

I also like the pictures and quotes of Bin Laden, who Bush is "truly not that concerned about".

Despicable.

Yea I've yet to see any Dem say Vote Republican and Die. They have at least tried to make the case that the Republicans have made us less safe, which is way different from saying vote for the other party and die.

Seriously though, they've vowed to increase taxes (Rangel says not a single Bush tax cut is worth keeping) and then they'll start spending, so they can repeat the good old tax and spend process which Democrats always do.

I'll the be the first to admit the current Republican-controlled Congress has not been particularly conservative and fiscally responsible, but, frankly, they look great next to Pelosi and company at the ledgers.

Perhaps you missed the 2004 ads which aired down south telling blacks that their churches were going to burn if Republicans were elected? I've heard similar ads are being ran / prepared now but I can't confirm it.

And the Democratic ad immediately following shoud have a picture of Bush and a quote of Bushes actual words:
"I don't know where he is and I really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."

QFT

Absolutely.
