Man, I like seeing my stuff is on the Fedex truck for delivery. But I sure hate wondering when they are gonna actually get to my house

The worst is when you order stuff from small PC supply shops that ship via USPS... then you can't even track it!

Actually, yes... I have a worse one for ya: I ordered some PC stuff from a company (2 items) and I received an e-mail that they would both be shipped seperately via USPS.

Well, 4 days later I received one item, but I didn't receive the other item yet. So here I am 3 weeks later, and I just recently contacted them about it. Supposedly they shipped them both the same day, but they're re-sending the second item for me because it appears to have gotten "lost" in shipping.

Take that! :D

Nah, the worst is when they have no tracking, they send you no email saying that it shipped, no phone number to call, and they respond to email once a week. (At least they responded!) Finally I wrote off ever getting my stuff. Three months later it arrived. I will never do business with them again.

Ship this thread to off topic.
But regarding this matter, I could care less, as long as it gets to me in a timely fashion.
I don't dwell on the delivery truck coming.

While I was coming to the door a few days ago, I caught a FedEx guy tossing my Barton across my 10 foot porch to drop it off. :disgust:

So much for signing the permanent signature release. He got a what-for.

Don't worry, CPUs are pretty hard to break in shipping:)

Yeah, they are, but what if it had been the Waterford crystal his wife had ordered?

What i like is when you have 500-1000 dollars worth of stuff being delivered from 3 different places and then the fed-ex guy leaves it on the doorstep with no signature...The next day he wont leave the 40 dollar speaker and keyboard also shipped from same place but shipped at different time..makes you go hmmm...

Also I caught the guy the first day...He stacked the stuff up against the door and never rang or knocked on the door...I had heard the truck from upstair and walked down to meet him at the door and my cell phone rang on my hip...I answered it but was standing 6 feet from the door....

This shite is starting to piss me off...Fed-sux and U.POS. are in such a competition and the guys are in such hurry to deliver all the crap on their long routes that no one actually delivers to the door....

The above example is about the 3rd time this year I have caught a delivery man not even knocking on the door...I like how he was going to leave the packages (worth about 600) on the doorstep in a heavy rain and the rain was blowing up onto the porch and the package were already wet and would have been soaked....

Yeah, the FedEx guy left my PSU on the back stairs at my house. Went online to track the thing and it was delivered 20 minutes beforehand. It does suck having expensive toys sitting outside without even a doorbell ring. It's not like he didn't notice the car in the driveway or the lights on...

Well, I apparantly had a laptop delivered today however, it is not anywhere to be found. The confirmation says it was delivered today however the box is not anywhere, I even looked in the back yard as well. The time it states it was delivered I was sitting in the front of my house next to the door.

Or how about the USPS drivers that are too lazy to get out of their truck and try and deliver a package that requires a signature so they just leave the notice to pick it up at the PO.

So far the FedEX guy where I live has been excellent. He brings everything to the front door and I sign for everything. :)

Unless of course it comes on a Saturday, a day that no other service will deliver without extra fees.
