Those were some HORRIBLE questions, divide the drive into "fractions"? Were you trying to be sneaky, or did you really not know that they're called partitions?

That question is idiotic. The question makes no sense, and if one were to attempt to interpret it, the answer would be given in the question "What is the command for fdisk?" != "What does fdisk do?" Also, fdisk both formats AND creates partitions, so you have two correct answers in your question.

Edit: BTW, fellating RossMAN in your "test" does not earn you any "extra credit" away from idiocy.

Fdisk doesn't format the drive like most people think. If you FDISK a drive and attempt to install windows, you will either be told to format the drive or it won't allow you to install until you format the drive. FDISK simply tells where partitions start and finish, it does not control file cluster size or file system...
