Country keeps electing Republicans.
Not one Republican holding office cares one cent about your life.
Democrats have many problems, but the nation would be better if Republicans lost all power.
Do not just vote to see it done. Campaign to see it done.

Republicans are only about 2 things now despite all the shit they say/ tweet everyday on media..

1. Holding onto power for their death cult
2. Grifting on a large scale

In the past 20 years I've yet to see 1 piece of Republican Legislation that has made people's lives better in any way.. (except unless you're a billionaire and their donor)

The Medicare Prescription Drug Plan of 2004. Pretty much crickets since from the GOP though.

This is a trigger point for me. Insulin is $300/bottle making it one of the most expensive liquids in the world. Theres NO reason for it! I can can go to almost any country i.e. Canada, Mexico...and get it for $50/bottle. Who pays the most for prescriptions in the world? Thats right. The USA. Here in AZ I like Sinema, but her marriage to the pharma industry infuriates me. I dont understand how we cant get this fixed. It started with Obamacare, which mostly benefitted the healthcare industry, and has progressively gotten worse. This isnt a D or R problem, its a people problem.

Pro-pharma Democrats kill bill to lower drug costs — advocates ask: “What did they get for that?” (msn.com)

It is $25 at Walmart. However I completely agree. There is zero reason why we tolerate this.
#bothsides want lower drug prices and nearly all agree Medicare NOT negotiating drug prices is INSANE.

To be fair, Sinema campaigned as a progressive.

And to be even fairer he has supported a lot of right wing economic policies until it affected him. That is the problem with a lot of people. They'll happily vote against others interests until they are part of that group and when they are... Then they start whining about it.

So no, that does in no way excuse him but it does condemn her. As we all know, she did it for the sweet sweet dollars and she should be out on her ass for it right now. This would not be tolerated in any other nation.

The Democrats should absolutely exclude both her and Manchin because as it is now the message is that they are part of the majority and Joe Biden is weak and people are starting to agree with that on your side as well. Show them the fucking truth, exclude them and show them for what they are.

In a demoracy you get what you vote for, this is what you wanted so do what they tell you and pull yourself up by your fucking bootstraps.
It's.. interesting.. that a certain group of folk only seem to break with the talking points when a particular issue has direct negative impact on them personally. It's almost as if they are incapable of looking outside themselves.

I knew it... I KNEW IT...
That we democrats were in BIG TROUBLE back in 2010 (was it 2010?) when the Joe Manchin campaign ran THIS political ad photo of Manchin.

This was how Manchin ran for election.
And I thought oh, ok... just another republican running for office (you see, I had never followed Joe Manchin or knew who he was).

Then.... I found out that Manchin was actually a democrat, or so he claimed, and he was running as a democrat for office, yet.... everything about him looked and smelled like a republican to me.
We all know that pungent smell.

Yes folks, I knew, I had this terrible "feeling" when first I saw THAT PHOTO of Joe back in 2010. I knew that JOE MANCHIN THE DEMOCRAT would come back to bite democrats IN THE BUTT.
IN THE BUTT...
My prediction, my "feeling" has now come true.
I KNEW IT. I KNEW IT SINCE 2010.

And we F...King democrats, we so G-Damn forgiving accepting naive F...King democrats that we so often are, we just say "COME ON IN JOE. COME RIGHT ON IN TO OUR BELOVED PARTY.
Spread your political kaka around. Spread it on the walls, spread it on the floors, spread it IN OUR FACE, we naive democratic party SOB's.
Hell.... even you're typical downtown bar has bouncers to keep the riffraff out. Dems, you need those F-ing bouncers.

He's supported those policies after they affected him because he's a fucking idiot. Just like all the other right wing idiots that justify their idiocy by "bothsides!", where if you can finally get them to admit it for even a second that its Republicans responsible for the issue they're complaining about they'll immediately go back to believing that at minimum the Democrats are just as bad so there's no actual benefit to voting for them, plus like they might be eating babies and pouring their blood all over themselves in ritual sacrifice!

It is amusing seeing him re-enact post Turmp where all the ones like him said give him a chance and they super duper didn't vote for him but he's saying a lot of things that make sense to him. Not surprising that after she turned corporate whore and obstructionist that he's liking Sinema. Gee she starts acting like a Republican (including fucking over the issue he personally cares about), and suddenly he goes out of his way to let us know he sees what he likes. Then again, maybe its just a veiled "she's hot" response from Mr Age of Consent laws are too high.

This is the kind of criminal level garbage the medical industry is pulling. This is what needs to be stopped:

"ATLANTA (AP) — A Georgia woman who left an emergency room after waiting for hours without seeing a doctor said she walked away with her injury untreated and a $700 charge simply for showing up.

Taylor Davis told WAGA-TV she went to the Emory Decatur Hospital emergency room in July for a head injury and decided to leave after no end in sight to her seven-hour wait for care.

A couple of weeks later, a surprise arrived in her mailbox: a $700 bill from the hospital.

“I didn’t get my vitals taken. Nobody called my name. I wasn’t seen at all,” Davis said.

She was convinced it was a mistake, but was told it was an emergency room visit fee. An email sent to Davis by an Emory Healthcare patient financial services employee says: “You get charged before you are seen. Not for being seen.”

Davis said she’s reluctant to go to an emergency room now if she needs care.

Emory Healthcare told the TV station in a statement that it was “looking into this matter and will follow up directly with the individual.”"

The $25 insulin at WalMart is Regular, which decades old treatment, and actually not very safe compared to the newer products.

Sorry for your illness that makes you need price gouging medications.

Progressives have been arguing to fix healthcare issues in this country for decades, including prescription drug pricing corruption, but we've just been called socialists and communists. Shoulda voted smarter all this time

No, that is not how it works. The $25 insulin is fine for most people but not for some that has diabetes type I but it's perfectly safe for everyone that needs insulin.

Insulin is the hormone that regulates blood sugar and for a LONG time that insulin was the only one we had, we now have variants with synthetic versions paid fully for by three governments that is patented by sponsors who use these governmental facilities for their own gains.

So, everyone can use the $25 insulin if their doctor prescribes that but they won't because it's "unsafe" (I'll let you imagine why), which it's not as long as you monitor your glucose levels. And the thing is, $25 is 25 TIMES the cost in Germany for the same product.

But hey, you love this shit, so why are you complaining?

You obviously dont know the difference between R, Humalog, and Humulin. Also, R required NO prescription. How effectively can you correct a high or bolus for a meal with an insulin that has a peak time of 6 hours? Ever tried it?

Get outta this lane you have no idea what youre talking about.

Oh also, dont lecture me on insulin. Ive been on it for 55 years.

Oh and for the record, R *is* synthetic.

I'm a biochemist and a molecular biologist and I can assure you that I DO know the difference. I did NOT know that a drug as incredibly dangerous as insulin, especially short acting, was available without prescription in the US, that is just entirely insane. I can't believe that is true, that would be like offering botox OTC. Perhaps you do in the US. I'm German.

I don't know why you brought up that Humulin-R is synthetic, of course it is, all insulin has been synthetically produced for a LONG time but my point is that either will do well in any patient as long as the dosage is adjusted and you check your glucose levels.

It's shorter acting but works well for ALL kinds of diabetes if used as prescribed.

Also, I don't get your idea that you cannot correct a high or bolus for a meal with Humulin-R as it is specifically designed to do just that and why do you call Humulin-R "R" and distinguish it from Humulin? You're not making much sense.

Too bad I dont have adult onset diabetes, but rather the immunodeficient one. Fucking loser.

What the fuck is immunodeficient diabetes?

I have never, in 30 years in the field, heard of that.

I did a study scan of it and found absolutely nothing either except the other way around (which was a good read all in itself and brought me up to speed on some things I have obviously missed.)

Do you know the pathology of type 1 diabetes?

You're a fucking idiot if you don't know why R is not considered short acting. R half life is 45 mins to 7 hours, Humalog is 35-50 minutes. How would you like to give a bolus for a meal that won't peak for 6 hours? Does that sound like a reasonable treatment plan? And is you don't know why it's called R, well, you don't know much about insulin. Do you actually know the difference between R and Humalog?

You're out of your lane. Get out.

It’s unclear to me why you think making Mitch McConnell senate majority leader would make things better. Can you explain?

I seriously do not understand why anyone complains about Joe Manchin.

1) Joe Manchin is substantially to the right of most Democrats.
2) Anyone who replaces Joe Manchin will be much further to the right of most Democrats than he is.
3) Therefore, Joe Manchin is good if you’re a Democrat.

How is this hard to understand.

how long you've been using a medication does not make you an expert, or even knowledgeable about it.

It's looking like some version of price negotiation will probably be in the final bill. Reportedly a compromise is at hand, specifically with prominent relief for stuff like insulin which has become a very visible and tangible problem.
