Well, i generally listen to my speakers (5.1>*), my front audio ports don't work with my soundcard, and it's a pita moving the desk to plug my big fat headphones in (which i have to do because the headphone jack on the speakers blows chunks, it's noisy as all hell)...
and then i was digging through a box of cables the other day and i found an old audio splitter cable, so now my speakers have a permanent link, and to listen to my phones i just turn them off and plug my phones in the other jack, without moving anything
And now dug777 gets hawt sound quality with almost no effort on his phones when his gf goes to sleep
