I added myself to my own buddy list. I email stuff to myself fairly often, and I guess it's conceivable that I might someday PM myself something too, and having me on my buddy list would save precious seconds. Plus I can look over and see if I'm online, schweet!

Who here is on their own buddy list? Have you ever PMed yourself? If you have, did you ever reply? Was the conversation of an illicit or sexual nature? Have you ever said anything in a PM to yourself that would get you banned had you posted in on the forums proper? Inquiring minds want to know!

sure, i like to know if im idle or not. i also IM myself things so they get put in my logs and saved

yep, I do that too. and to check if my profile looks right, i'm an odd one like that.
 
yes for aim.

Back when my internet was unreliable i'd message myself to test my connection to the aim server to test how massive my packetloss was (sometimes the messages didnt come back 😕 )

I also email myself reminders for things regularly if I dont have a note pad to write it down.
 
I'm on my AIM buddy list because I like to see how long I've been online.

I've never sent myself a PM on AT; come to think of it, I don't think I've sent anyone a PM here yet.
